To mark the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 2016, Sound Affairs is producing a new adaptation of ‘The Tempest’ for countertenor, period instruments and magic lantern.
Featuring British music from the baroque period alongside works by contemporary composers, the performance also explores the play’s themes of magic and theatrical illusion through music, visual art and magic lantern.
